‘Prisoner falls from third floor’ at Glasgow’s Barlinnie

A PRISONER is believed to have fallen from the third floor at Barlinnie prison.

The incident took place at around 7.30am yesterday morning, the Glasgow Times understands. 

An ambulance and paramedics attended.

The prisoner’s current condition is unknown. 

A source claimed that the incident took place in front of other prisoners.

The Scottish Prison Service said: “The Scottish Prison Service do not comment on individual prisoners.”

Meanwhile, Police Scotland say they did not receive any calls to Barlinnie yesterday.

The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
